I’m going to a GT in September with my shaven and it will be strictly WYSIWYG. So this means that rather than just using one of the old metal ones i need an engineer with a rocket. So here is.![]()

A Doom Rocket on a pole and Storm Vermin arm. What a great conversion idea, it almost feels like I have seen that somewhere before though. All kidding aside nice looking Engineer you have there. |

Actually, unless there is a specific comp rule to the contrary, WYSIWYG doesn't require revealing magic items. Mundane gear, yes, but you don't need to put a scroll on your Grey Seer to show he has a Dispel Scroll; likewise your Engineer doesn't need to show he's carrying a Doomrocket. |

This is one of the biggest RAW vs. RL issues in Fantasy. While it's true the book only requires "a majority of the weapons to be of the appropriate type" almost every tourney, and most groups, have requirements closer to 40K, and they often expect WYSIWYG to the 40K level without explicitly stating it as such. |

Also when you've got magic items as cool as clan Skryre, why wouldn't to show them off? |

Amen to this. Also with an overpowered item as extreme as the doomrocket I feel it's extremely fun to show the opponent you have it and mess with their right from the start

Don't get me wrong, I did something similar and converted a storm vermin into my doomrocket Engineer, complete with a torch and lit fuse. (And some day I've got to get that @#%$&)! new camera working...) I'm just saying that it's not required by the rules to show what magic items a character is carrying on the mini. |
