Thrall Clans of Moulder?; New help picking a clan

I'm starting out my first Skaven army and trying to work out a theme/background. I'd to at least have a nod to official background. I plan on using some red and black in the paint scheme, and use a good deal of Moulder components (HPA, giant rats, some rat ogres). Perhaps Mors or Carrion. Treecherik would work if they weren't overtly tied to Eshin.

Any suggestions?

Clan Gritus could work as a de-facto Thrall-Clan. They wear red and black, use lots of Warbeasts, and as an added bonus indulge in pit-fighting!

Clan Krizzor recruits their own Packmasters (p. 53 in army book) for a start, if you just want a name... :pmaster:

... But in the Heraldry book, they're not in red and black, which the OP would like to use.

Unwanted is correct, Clan Gritus most closely fits the attributes you desire.

Of course, there are so many lesser clans that you could easily create your own clan that fits into canon. Just remember, they can't be too awesome! Good lesser clans are characterised by their failings.

Totally not a magpie

In the last Animosity campaign my clan I had the mad Engineer Whizz-Bang usurp was a thrall to Moulder (until we ended up declaring war on them in the Animosity-verse. :P )
I think personally any scheme could work as long as you keep a theme of it being a small clan geared around providing the rat power to nab all the horrible beasties in the Chaos Wastes to then sell on to Moulder for a fair price. In effect they can sacrifice hundreds of rats for Moulder to have a new interesting specimen.
Why should Moulder waste 'good' Clan Rats when they can pay pennies for another Clan to get in the way of an angry troll and the like?

Cool! Thanks for the ideas, everyone. Back to the heraldry book!
