Hey guys,
something I have always been curious about, do Skaven walk upright or scamper alone on all fours?
because somehow I can easily see both happening

Well, both I think. When a skaven scurries away, i image him running as fast as possible..... Albeit, when he is marching or walking I would say upright. In heavy (inc. Plates on clanrats) armour, i can image them having a hard time running on four feeterm... arms and legs..... whatever...... :ph43r: though.

In G&F all skaven walk upright.
FOR THE GLORY OF THE HORNED RAT OF COURSE!

The one and only.
Well they are supposed to be ratmen. They are a sick imitation of humans and they walk on two legs. But I am sure Skaven happily run along on all four paws whenever they are alone and no one is watching.

It is both. Fluff mentions (in WHRP Children Of The Horned Rat that I think) they can run on all fours through tunnels that are too tight for other slaves.

Both. Walking upright in general, scampering on all fours when fleeing as fast as possible.

I know that Thanquol runs on all fours in "Grey Seer." Ultimately I'm certain both happen, the CR models who are stepping forward on both of their hind paws prove that they can walk up right, and there are several fluff accounts of them running on all fours.

Playing skaven to minimize randomness is like going to prom with your sister, you can do it if you really want, but in the end everyone will still laugh even if you do get lucky.

I always take at least one Warpfire Thrower. You can't always rely on your opponent to do massive damage to your troops. Sometimes, you just have to do a job yourself.

Looking at the models themselves the problem would seem to be that they are anthropomorphic, and would thus be about as effective at running on all fours as a human would.

Gutter Runners are seen walking on two legs in the cinematic intro for Shadow of the Horned Rat.
