Escalation League - 200 pts / 2 weeks

A local gaming group began an escalation league. It starts at 500 pts and increases 200 pts every turn. Each turn is two weeks.

First two turns, no rares, no lords, 3 special max.

First list -
WE - doomrocket lev 1 rat hound - 100

Slaves x30 mus, pwldr - 66

Slaves x30 mus, pwldr - 66

Clanrats x20 stnd, mus, shlds - 102

Giant rats - 23

Giant rats - 23

15x Plague Monks, stndrd, mus - 120

I get 200.pts to add. I faced orcs rnd 1 and it felt like i lacked some punch. Rogres? Suggestions? Bsb for sure this time. Slaves broke and killed by WE general.

1) Do you know who you're facing Turn 2?
2) Roughly what did the Orc player bring? Do you know roughly what races your facing, what kinds of builds there are?
3) Are you required to keep anything you brought in Turn 1?

Under 500 points is ROUGH, and you can't typically afford an ounce of fat on your list. You've got a great start for a take all comers list, but that means it's almost ALL fat.

Orc player brought 24 biguns a chariot and a troll. A shaman lvl 1 and an orc boss.

I do not know who is turn two, but id like to try to keep it all comers

No rules about maintaining units. Could change 100% if need be

You have 4 "Movement" Units, two redirectors and two tarpits. he had, if I'm reading this right, 1 unit and 2 solos? If that's about standard, you can loose one of the rat darts. If you didn't need all comers I'd loose both for that list. Drop a pawldr, pull the other down to 23 and make it your bunker. Kill the hound. Use the points you just freed to step the Clannies into Stormers, or use it to feed the Monks. Feed your 200 into a BSB with an MR token, use anything left to beef up your Monks if you went Storm on the previous step, or to beef your Clannies if they're still there.
