Clanrat
what about using them as a rat hound for a chieftain or a warlord... or would it be too hard to fit them both on a base?

Since there about the size of horses you;d be hard pressed getting just the wolfrat onto the 20mm base, but I LOVE how you think sir!

They could easily be used as pox rats.
Build a better trap and Clan Moulder will build a better rat!!!!

Wouldn't they need to pack on a little weight to pass for a Pox rat?

Perhaps, though not all disease ridden vermin need be fat, some could be gaunt. the trick would be greenstuffing on some pestules and boubles.

I'm sure you could model them thin or as mechanical constructs (you can model them however you want).

My comment was more with regards to the beastiary description in the book for the Pox Rat, which has a whopping 5 sentences; 3 of those 5 sentences make reference to the Pox rat being a 'big fat-fatty' (paraphrased ofcourse). If you were modelling to try and fit the description, you'd need to add some weight (and sores too).

Aside from Fluff, I think I'd prefer the visuals of a thin Pox rat to a fat one.

I Think thin sickly looking pox rats would look better than fat ones. But Bloated with disease would also be cool.
