That's a pretty good list. Just a couple of things you're missing: a hammer unit (something that will kill things) and a BSB (this is a must!). I would drop one Engineer for a BSB. Skaven really, really need those re-rolls. For a hammer unit your're already halfway there. Mount your general on a Plague Furnace and you have your missing hammer, an unbreakable bunker ans 18" LD range. |

TRADE I'm looking for Dark Eldar to convert into DE. Also looking for bretonnia lances and halberds. If anyone has any they would be interested in trading PM me and we can work something out. "And, most vivid of all, there was the dramatic epic of the rats––the scampering army of obscene vermin which had burst forth from the castle three months after the tragedy that doomed it to desertion––the lean, filthy, ravenous army which had swept all before it and devoured fowl, cats, dogs, hogs, sheep and even two hapless human beings before its fury was spent. Around that unforgettable rodent army a whole separate cycle of myths revolves, for it scattered among the village homes and brought curses and horrors in its train." – The Rats In The Walls, H.P. You should be alright. Engineers aren't all that wonderful. Even with the two you have only one is a mage so you wont be hurting yourself by dropping the non-magic one. In the end a BSB is 100% more useful than an engineer. |

to give you an idea of JUST how useful a bsb is... taking a leadership test on leadership 10 once has a 1/12 fail rate. with a reroll, that chance is reduced to 1/144 |

Having an Engineer as your general is rather interesting and not too recommended I don't think. Low toughness means he's way easier to kill, low Leadership means that you're not really adding any of the much needed LD bonuses to the army. A Chieftain would be way better. The shields on the stormvermin aren't necessary since they'll be fighting with halberds in CC and with enough models in the unit shooting shouldn't be an issue. better to drop the shields and the lvl 2 warlock add a chieftain with say: Enchanted shield, Foul Pedant, Biting Blade. That'll leave you with 85 pts to upgrade your existing engineer to a lvl 2. You'll have a survivable general with decent LD, a lvl 2 mage and a BSB. Everything you need. Other than that it's a good list. Maybe heavy on the Gutter Runners though. Usually I find that one unit works well in 1500-2400 point games. Edited by Scarecrow, 28th February 2012 - 07:56 PM.

How many units of slaves do you have? And how large are they? Hard to tell from your list. Looks good other than that. Now all you have to do is play with it and see if you like it. |

You can try that, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Right now You have a pretty solid list. Make what ever edits you want but keep this list and the next time you play try both of 'em out. But this looks pretty solid IMHO. Good luck with it. |
