I suspect you ratties are already accustomed to scampering over the little folk's furry feet (in search of crumbs - not that Halflings leave many crumbs !) Anyway, in case you're interested it's an extremely good army book and well worth a read - it had me in fits of laughter with the likes of the Bee Keeper, the Dawg Riders, The Pantry Guard and the flying Swan archers. It actually looks very well balanced. |

I read the magic section looked at the heros and then the cost lol. Under priced easy to cast spells that are all good. Cheap units that are LD8! Some ones imagination has gone a little too far I think. Also the init is rather high for the cheap cost of units. |

Rumor has it that halflings (and civilized ogres) will once again be reappearing in the new Empire army book. Halflings I believe, the ogres not so much. If anyone has been around long enough to remember but both races were in the 4th (5th maybe?) army books. |

4Th I believe. Though I do not think they will be in the new book as they are doing more LOTRs stuff they will keep halflings out of warhammer while they have the contract. |
