Hey guys. Here is what I have: Lords (493pts.) General - Warlord + Shield + Warlitter + Warpstone Armor + Dawnstone + Warlock Enhanced Weapon (XXpts.) Grey Seer + Dispel Scroll (XXpts.) Heroes (XXpts.) Chieftain + BSB + Shield (XXpts.) Core (722pts./768pts.) 50 Skavenslaves + Musician (XXpts.) 50 Skavenslaves + Musician (XXpts.) 40 Clanrats + Shields + Musician + Standard (XXpts.) 40 Clanrats + Shields + Musician + Standard + Champion (XXpts.) (Warlord goes here.) 28 Clanrats + Shields (XX) (Bunker for Grey Seer and Chieftain BSB.) 5 Giant Rats + 1 Pack Master (XXpts.) 5 Giant Rats + 1 Pack Master (XXpts.) Special (252pts.) 8 Gutter Runner + Slings + Poison (XXpts.) 6 Gutter Runner + Slings + Poison (XXpts.) Rare (415pts.) Hell Pit Abomination (XXpts.) Warp Lightning Cannon (XXpts.) Warp Lightning Cannon (XXpts.) --------------- 2000 pts. 240 models Here is my dilemma. I have realized that it would be a disaster to have my seer and bsb in the same unit. A single miscast could really spoil my day. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to create another bunker for the BSB. I dont wanna put him in the other 40 clanrat unit because that is a combat unit. And I dont wanna put him in the warlord unit for the same reason. What do you guys think? Any suggesstions in general? |

I don't see why putting him in the same unit as the Grey Seer would be much of a problem. If they both stand at each end of the unit, only the Large Template can touch the BSB and even then he gets a LoS! roll. But your list looks very very solid. I hope it's for a tournament because that list is rock hard. |

No tournament. I got a game vs Dark Elves tomorrow. I've heard that they are top tier. And I have trouble beating Beastmen and Brettonia. I'm looking forward to playing them, and I want a decent chance of winning, so I poured over every piece of advice in the army list section. I'm not scared, though.... lol. |

There is no LOS from miscast. LOS is only from shooting attacks and spells. One effective Warlord build is Capt's which is warlitter, helm, 4+ ward, sword of anti hero. It's a defensively very strong so you can use him as your general and he'll be pretty safe. Offensively, he is ok too but I see what you're trying to do with your build here and I'll be interested in the the damage output and effectiveness (should always try new stuff) You can give banner of discipline on your BSB and rank your bunker in 2 or 3 rows (and be Ld 9) if you're not expecting your bunker to take a lot of heat. Thats how I run now against artillery heavy army. It's wider so a template can never get both seer and BSB. You can of course go slave bunker instead of CR bunker (again I run these but nobody else seems to think they're a great idea), then you can afford 2 bunkers You can go defensive warlord like the build above and put bsb in there with another character (15pt warlock) so they'll have to kill champion & character before getting to bsb Might want to throw in a champion in your bunker unit, else peg lord/hero will fly straight over and beat your general/bsb You forgot the doom rocket and I will include at least 1 more giant rat unit. If he decide to go melee+shadow which is the most common DE build, his key unit will be a frenzy corsair unit. Stick the pack master in the back of the rat dart and charge into his corsair unit. Packmaster can not die so will flee and he'll go pursue in places he doesn't want to go if you've charged at the right spot (for the side/rear/off the table/90 degrees turns, etc).
