It's way too much to summarize. Basically, it's a former GW-US employee, going under the name VladTheEmailer, answering questions about his time working at GW US in the 1990s-early 2000s. Also writing in is Dirty Steve, the GW-US miniature photographer, who also used to have a column answering questions in the North American White Dwarf. Dirty Steve does mention that Skaven, in his view, are among the most fun armies to paint.

VladTheEmailer actually mentions the UnderEmpire's own Sleboda twice (they worked at the GW-US Baltimore headquarters at the same time), and says: "Steve and Joseph Sleboda are the best painters I've ever encountered."

Some of the things he talked about made a lot of sense but.....

He said there is no elasticity in the market. Thats a load of crap. The only reason why i am playing (and my friend) is because im a skaven fan and he's a high elf fan, so when they realised the cheap island of blood set we felt as though we could justify the cost, while my other two friends who played for 5 years gave up because their armies are too expensive...

The only reason I started Skaven is because the armybox represented a cost/utility I was comfortable with. Instead of fleshing this out at retail I got hold of some (well, a lot) second hand Skaven.
It's like a guy said when the Goldswords were released. At £15 a box he would have bought 3-4 to make all kinds of models, at the £20 (I think it was then) price mark he decided against getting any at all.

I've stopped impulse buying GW stuff. Not because I couldn't but because at the current price I always go " hooold on, how much again?".
