Hello Hello, After some mods and play-testing I have a "new" and "improved" Skaven list I would like for you to look at/comment. The Warlord will bounce between either the clanrats or Stormvermin depending on who I am fighting. Everything looks good to me, except the Jezzails. I'd opt for buffing unit numbers or taking weapon teams instead. --Cap |

Did something change or does the highest -leadership character no longer have to be your general? If this is not the case then your Warlord will be the general, and putting himin the stormvermin unit will cost you the game. Because, well lets be honest the mighty skaven warlord is still just a skaven. and any player worth his salt will kill im first oppertunity. then you will lose the game. second. you have alot of points in characters but only one hammer unit. (I don't care what anyone says the Stormvermin do not fuction as a in the flank hammer unit. The are most effective in a horde formation with the frenzy thing.) |

Yeah, I just double checked that, and, while not dissapointed in myself, feel a little foolish. I just assumed the warlord/greyseer were like all the other armies what with the the lord character and wizard character being different. My bad yall. |

Thanks for the input guys. I will have to look at shifting around the Jezzails for one/two weapons teams. If I do it will be for the Mortar. Perhaps it's my local meta but I do see Bloodcrushers, Blood Thirsters, Chaos Cav, Dwarfs, ect on a semi regular basis which is why I added the jezzails in the first place. I'll reconfig some and let you know the results. @ Tournament players- What are your thoughts on the MR engineer? I had a bad experience with Death Magic once so have taken him ever since, but actually haven't seen Death Snipes used that much. How often do you encounter it? |

I love the magic resistance caddies. I've used the Loadstone myself for well over a year. MR 3 is awesome when you have to bounce a plague through a combat with your main unit; or for keeping an enemy from targeting your main unit with magic when they realize it's got MR 3. --Cap |

**Bump** Made some Mods to the list based on suggestions. Dropped Jezzails and added Poisoned Wind Mortar and a block of slaves. Although I am considering dropping the PWM/Gutter Runner unit to add a Engineer with Skaven Brew for whatever unit the Warlord doesn't go in. Thoughts? |
