This list was fun to play. Good things came from a list very similar to this one. I tweaked it a little and may go over some revisions as they come. I shot the pants off of of a few chars and weapons teams and then got some good multi-charges with all the maneuverability. I would consider changing out the Night Runners and slaves for a different core, but that many Gutter Runners at 1000 pts is too much fun. My original list had two Death Runners with Weeping blades. May go back to that for the punch.

That list is so wrong in so many ways! Its awesome ! No matter what others will say "not enough chars, too many this, not enough that..." dont change it before you tried it out !!!!
The only change that I would make, would be to increase the number of slaves. They'll be the ones stalling the enemy while you shoot them to pieces. Really, try it and let us know how it went.

(Oh and Mathusala... you'll say "slings on slaves is useless " and of course you will be right. But please, let him try it ;-) )

Slings on slaves suck :P

no standards in this list makes it really iffy.

It is a fluffy list but it will struggle but only because you don't have a seer which you could do if you dropped the chief and assassin.

Else you will just get magic-ed to death the power in this list is the gutter runners and they will die after a few 2d6 S4 spells blast them.

Wow slings on slaves suck. Even 10 wide with 20/40 shots as options it just doesn't produce. Still fun to roll that many dice.

Some brief highlights before work and a battle report to follow later today: Shooting!!! Took out Two Plague wind mortars, plague priest and warlock engineer in opening volley. Maneuverability!!! Got flanks and out of charge arcs all the way around. Building assaults! Gutter runners with an assassin ROCK building assault! Caster hunting. Sure I don't have magic, but dead seer = no magic for opponent either.

i have made sling on slaves work but only vs HE

but i had a unit of 40 slave 20 wide 2 deep with mus to reform on like turn 2 or 3 and keep my leader close for his Ld and yes it is fun to pick up 80 dice and roll them


i killed about 1 mode out of every 10 attacks keep and these were sword masters

this is not something i say is a good move just a fun move
toys go boom kill all man-thing, got to find more man-thing so toys can go boom again '
