Let me start by telling you that you are painfully short on the most important part of the skaven army. Slaves. you no kidding need ar leat 100 of them. two units of fifty. Normaly you need to get a Grey Seer for the magic defense. Which you will need by the way when you fight tomb Kings. But skrolk is a level three which, while not optimal, is usable. And even better is plague spells are very effective against the Tomb Kings. How ever you should really get some gutter runners with poison attacks and slings for those Warsphinxes, which, by the way, will be brought. And the will rock pretty much whatever they hit in combat with a fiery roar then attacks and a thunderstop follow up. That would be bad for you. and they're toughness 8 so not much we have can relyably wound them. So take at least two units of around six gutter runners. You should also read the list building thread. It will tell you that you want one model per ten points of army. So in a 2500 optimum models would be about 250. but that is a suggestion. So for a breakdown. get slaves lots of them. I like two units but others prefer more. Load them up with at least 40 models and keep them in the leadership bubble and get a bsb as well. lord and bsb go in a bunker unit of about 20 to 25 clanrats and they hold it in the back maintaining the bubble. slave hit well anything realy and tar pit them. then later you hit them in the flanks with hammer units. IE plague monks with furnace or hpa or doom wheel. That is how we win games. |

+ one to Fenris. I recommend you write either a fake list or at least say what you generally want (a horde army, shooty army, "elite" army and so on) |

Your list is a list of models you own, not a list you've made, correct? So in that case, you have some good models! I would make one unit of clanrats, with spears, shields, standard and musician. (save the points, u don't need a clawleader) put your warlord in it with some gear. You could stick a mage in here, or have him in with some slaves (they'll benefit from his leadership) the rest of your rats you should make spear slaves support these units with a warpfire thrower (if you plan on getting charged and/or are staying stationary, or a mortor if you plan to move a lot) attached to your main clan rat unit But for us to give you some pointers, you need to tell us the point level you are going to play. I have no experience vs. tomb kings. Message me if you want, and I'll send you the list I just beat high elves with two games in a row...at 1000pts. Also, I recommend you get yourself a Doomwheel, and always protect your general. I love putting mine on a bonebreaker in a unit of clanrats. |

so you put your ogre on a bonebreaker to get shot by cannons? so you put spears on clanrats to remove your parry save and waste points? |

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand the logic behind the spears on the slaves. Do you expect the extra attacks to win you combat against, well, anything? I t would seem that what ever high elf player you play against doesn't know the game very well. |

Maybe an idea 2 use the 2 clanrat units with Shields as Slaves. Use The Special Char as lvl 4 Grey Seer. With these 2 changes nobody will complain about WYSIWYG. Use the one unit of Clanrats with spear (because you got them) with the mortar. And the PMonks with PF. Combined with the WLC this will make a solid start I guess. Work it from there.
