First Attempt at a 3k list that will keep me competitive against O&G, Bretts, WoC, DE, HE, Dwarfs, WE, Ogres.... basically all comers.. lol

Any comments/advice are appreciated.... I'm far from married to this list, starting a BiB Campaign in a month or so to use it with..... have approx. 70% built and primed, 30% to buy still..... mostly slaves etc.... I am mostly worried abt. Warmachines, but have never used Gutter runners... are they that good at dealing with War Machines/Casters, how many per unit do you take, how many units, and what would you drop to have them?

Gutter runners are amazing war machine/lone caster hunters. I always give them poison and occasionally slings. 5 is fine if you sneak them in the back door and hit war machines.
I like the list itself but with one huge question.
WHY the warpmusket on the seer and chieftain. The seer is only BS3 and if the unit moves you need a 5+ to hit. It just seems to be a waste. The chieftain maybe you can argue, but i just see a waste of points.
SHINY!!!!! urgh....its only gold...needs silver.....

Actually the musket is even worse than that because it's a move or fire weapon, so you won't be hitting anything with it if you move.

I see the point to the Warpmuskets being unnecessary. I had them initially before I split my Jezzails into 2 units of 3 with each having a champ. I save 30 pts. Dropping both of the muskets....

Edited the list.... I dropped both Warpmuskets, and the 2 Rat Darts, and added a unit of 5 Gutter Runners with slings and poison.

I am new to Rat darts, I figure if I have to redirect frenzied troops, I can use the Globadiers or the doomrocket engineer.... would like to fit a warpgrinder in for kicks, but you can't have EVERY cool looking shiny toy in a list...lol

drop all this gear but the earthing rod, the bell is the thing getting shot at, not its unit, and it already has a 4+ ward save.

good, I don't personally like queekvermin, I find they under preform for there really heavy points cost (and they still only have one attack)

spears should go, unnecessary points as you dont want the bell in combat.

giant rats are good re directors, they are also twice as cheep as globes (who are really not all that effective, you have a lot of good high strength and armor ignoring weapons already so keep these darts and drop globes instead.

Total Models - 230|300, this needs to change, you need to find a way to fit at lest 50 more models in this list. your probably spending to many points on queek and vermin.

Thanks all, and Mathusala, great analysis. I will see what I can rework and come up with today, trying to nail down a solid list so I can order the rest of the models soon. Will post reworked list later on much appreciation for the tips guys!
