Have you by any chance been watching the labyrinth recently? ![]() From the top of my head I can at least give you the answer for number 3. Warlock Matik's riddle 3) Here's a nice lateral thinking one from me: There is an insepector and a police officer inspecting the death of a man who died in a cinema. "It's very simple" says the Policeman "this man fell went to sleep during the film and dreamt that he was in a large gothic castle during a fierce storm. Then he heard a stomping and growling from below the castle and tried to run away from this monster. It was just bearing down on him with it's gaping jaws and huge green eyes when his wife woke him up. The shock of this caused the fatal heart attack." The inspector turns round and says "rubbish!" How is the inspector so sure? |

Grrrr.... the 'click to toggle' buttons dont work on my phone....How do u guys make that? The 'one liar, one truthspeaker' riddles are simple, but i wont spoil them for the ones who cant figure it out, at least until i master the toggle switch. I am baffled by the two previous riddles... "If you have six apples, and you take away four, what do you have?" -- The first answer that pops in my head is 'two', but i know thats wrong. "What do you call a man who has lost all the fingers on his hand?"....... Stumpy? Has anyone ever heard of einsteins riddle? It ranks as one of the hardest riddles/puzzles in the world. I dont have the time right now to find it and copy it here (no copy/paste on a phone), would anyone be so kind as to find it and post it? I think we would have a lot of fun with it. Ive never figured it out... Its HARD! |

Afraid not Silas, it's a lot simple than it seems. Mutate: and to clarify the man is married and was with his wife at the cinema. Edited by Ratty Gnawtail, 8th November 2011 - 02:22 PM.

With ratty's riddle: because there'll be serious concerns about the state of our law enforcement if cops started blaming deaths on killer dream monsters... |

@Firby: we make them y cunning use of

tags ![]() Krogholt's got the standard answer for the second one of mine, and Silas' alternate for three should work too. No correct answer for number 1 yet: it's not a trick question, there is a numerical answer for the volume of material left in the 'ring' structure formed by boring a hole through a sphere (Warning: may involve use of maths! )Still thinking on Ratty's
