1. Imho you need a grayseer, lacking that +4 to dispel is a real killer. 2. I would also drop the Rival Hide and Worlds Edge Armour for a Talisman of Preservation for X more points or Armour od Destiny for XX more points. While the Rival Hide is kinda nice I don't see the Worlds Edge doing anything for you. I never put stock in armour saves as Skaven and what 1 strength 6 hit and you now naked? no thanks. 3. The UnderEmpire has a thread somewhere on these forums debating the value of Banner of the Under Empire. I believe it came up to not being worth it (tho I could be wrong), I would throw in the Banner of Verminous Scurrying to get your monk unit into combat faster AND use it to run up and furnace some poor chaps face ehh I was wrong Math0 has a thread now above ... Or below... This one with the inner workings of list making do's and do nots.Edited by Anukex, 26th October 2011 - 06:36 AM.

I think this is a decent list, Yes, lacking a lvl 4 for magic defense will hurt, the level 2 and dscroll will help somewhat though. I'd advise putting the Plague Banner in the monks, rerolling hits and wounds for a turn really makes them damaging. I disagree with the above poster, Worlds Edge armor is excellent protection against insta-kill spells for your BSB, though I'd move away from making him combat oriented by replacing the Greatweapon with a Shield. You don't want to feel the need to put his bigsword to use and end up putting your BSB in harms way, you want him safe and away from danger. If you can make it through the first couple of turns without falling to a magical onslaught you should be able to tear up in combat. The Abomination and Doomwheel will go a long way in distracting most magic away from your important units. --Cap |
