Warlord Rotvore the CorpseGnawer
Im facing a rematch against a friends vampire counts army this Saturday after my first one went breasts up with about a hundred 1's rolled from me...
Anyway, im not asking for someone to write me a list im just wondering what sort of units would you recommend against an army of multiplying corpses?

I think clan pestilence might be useful against them considering the large numbers of low toughness troops.

Any ideas? thank you.

Plague monks: Immune to Psychology from Frenzu will help as the entire army is fear-causing

Lightning Cannons : Can never go wrong with these, they can blast a Terrorgeist/Early Black coach and save you a lot of trouble.

Wither: He may re-raise models, but that -1 toughness ain't going anywhere.

Hellpit Abominaton: Vampires have sweet banners so they usually skip the Flaming Banner.

Bless with Filth : "Look, my Plague monks are even better than Ghouls!"

Should there be a Gravestar(30+ Grave Guard w/ great weapons, +1 to hit banner, BSB with Regen banner, etc...), try to shoot a wft(or cast scorch) to negate it's regen before blasting it away. If you ever see a VC unit who's down to 12 or so models and has characters in it, consider Dread 13th.

The Evil Underlord

a good vampire will take graveguard, a unit of blood knights, or (most recently) a unit of black knights

all these are toughness 4 and have very good saves, they will laugh at plague monks
