I just finished reading the Nagash Trilogy, and I just have to say, It is MINDBLOWING. Mike Lee is a very talented author, and in this book, it really shows. I lost a lot of sleep because of these books, i just couldnt put them down.

As well as the story of Nagash, the trilogy provides great insight into the birth of vampires, since their creation is so closely tied to Nagash.

Also, the 3rd and last book, gives us a glimpse into the skaven 4000+ years ago. The 4 Great clans were minor clans back then. Clan Pestilens didnt exist. Rat Ogres hadnt been invented yet, and wpn teams were very, very primitive. It was so interesting to see what the skaven were like, that long ago. Olorin, you remember what it was like for us 4000 years ago, right? (heh, heh, heh... ;) )

Anyway, I highly recommend this trilogy. Do yourself a favor and buy it.
I wish Morgan Freeman narrated my life.

Bunny ear says flop

4000+ years ago?

As the Warhammer Fantasy timeline was frozen at around 2500 I.C. and the emerging of the Skaven in the Blighted Marshes (Karazazavavar or something? :P ) is listed at around -1500 I.C., does this mean Black Library is moving around with it again? Or am I missing some bit of information here?

Quick Timeline time! :)

IC -2500-2000 - Kavzar begins to be built
-1600 - Skaven take over Kavzar
-1197 - Nagash is 'killed'
-100 Nagash comes back
2521 (~) - Current day

So the book describes Skaven around 3718 years ago :)

Im waiting till the 3rd book comes out before i read thanquol and bone ripper. Im soooooo looking forward to it. Also waiting for 3rd Ulrika book to come out. Ah, this years gonna be a good year. Im gonna read The Sundering Trilogy and Warhammer Heroes in the mean time.

And 4000 years ago was just an average, an estimate. Nagash Trilogy covers several hundred years of history. I dont know the exact dates off the top of my head, but the books start around -2500 Imperial Reckoning and end around -1500 IC.

The Great Bunny. Now with a mop. :)

Think this should go in fluff.

*BAMF*

The Thanquol and Boneripper stuff is really good. The third book should be out soon though I don't know the date.

You should have waved your magic mop around before Skitterleaping!

Yes it should be a good year for reading. I've been a little hesitant about reading the rest of the Nagash trilogy (I've only read no. 1) as I found some areas a little confusing.
Certainly looking forward to seeing Thanquol hopefully zap some Dwarf-things though.
