Something I've been wondering. In the Empire book, in the Countercharge section, it says "If a Detachment has not been charged it can declare a counter charge." Does this specifically refer to successful charges, or does it include failed charges. I've looked about and can't find and answer. |

In my area we've played it as successful charge, since if someone attempted to charge the detachment but failed to get in, the Detachment is free to counter-charge, whereas if it's already locked in combat it can't. -Blader |

As I remember it can only be performed if the unit is charged successful "failing to charge" does not allow you to charge in and I would image it would be called a counter attack if the unit was moving to block to the attack rather than to pitch in with the other unit. | |
