Excellent, good spot WM. :)

Good news for me, 'cos I'm liking this figure much more than when it was first shown on this forum....to the point where i'm definately going to acquire it at some point between now and Christmas. I fancy fielding a VL anyway...and the option to ramp-up the stats and abilities as an Exalted variant in SoM...well, that clinches it.
I was thinking that it looked a little Sly Stallone-like (circa Rambo), too fleshy, not so toned. Now it's looking meaner, nastier...more Rambo 3-ish...... :D
It'll do for me, anyhoo.....

Totally not a magpie

Brilliant and very very scary models. *Rocks back and forth trying to resist the temptation that is the Verminlord*

The mounted version will be released later, like they did with the Carmine Dragon.

The Models look great, I certainly like this one better than the old VL model. As for using it in normal games, it would still have the basic VL stats (unless we use the experamental rules) and would be bigger, so I probably would only use it in fun home games as more of a novelty.

As for the brood horror, It looks cool, but I've never given much thought to using a mounted general (except a Grey Seer on a bell, but that's different). When I have a warlord, it's usually Queek anyway.
