Personally, I think the cats are going to share a multikit with rhinox. The bodies of the cats and the rhinox pulling the warmachines are basically the same. Also, anyone else notice the bear trap jaws on the white thingey are ACTUAL jaws? |

I think the first will be a BUTCHER or a assasin or just a Maneater. The firespitta is cool, but not awesome IMO. The tyrant is so freakin cool. I'm also glad they finally got normal skin tones. The cavalry is still ugly, idk why. I just don't like 'm |

I think they look very attractive... I think the new models suit them (sort of) and I have no problems with the cavalry. The Tyrant is hereby called Chuck Hairis |

The "tyrant" is Golgfag. One of the oldest Warhammer special characters. He's been around for around 20 years. The grim reaper guy is Bragg. PROTIP SKAVEN PLAYERS: Don't get into a challenge with him. He has heroic killing blow in challenges, and if he kills the challenger, the unit becomes disrupted. |

Yeah... "last army"!!!! nice... real nice and sweet... 1st time I entered the world of Warhammer I said: "What use in playing many armies? You never identify yourself in any! One should choose ONE army and identify himself through it..." And that's how I bought the dwarfs... 2nd time I wanted to be able to field more bodies in the battlefield & convinced myself, "playing only one tribe/race will make it dull, plus it's nice to alternate playing styles, evolves the player you are etc etc..." And that's how I bought the Skaven... 3rd time I continued to be thrilled in fielding hundreds of models in the battlefield, but since my dwarfish blood kicked in, I put aside the magic and wanted more brute. The only hordish army that amasses muscles was the Orcs. And that's how...

I see lots of lovely weapons and ascessories that I would like to add to my future conversions. How big are the normal ogres like for example the grim reaper dude. Are they alot bigger then our ratogres? |

Ogres are roughly the same size(ish) as our Rat Ogres though if I recall right tyrants and other characters are just a bit bigger. *shudders* An executioner Ogre? That doesn't sound good. A fire breathing Ogre mage with a big hammer? That's going to hurt us. However i'm pleased to see the return of an old old character like Golgfag, I think he's got a special rule now that lets you actually give him magic items right before the battle (but at a random number of said points.) Could be nasty. |

Got a bunch of stuff. Reporting in on the bits situation. The Stonehorn/Thundertusk head share no common parts, they're you can build both heads from the one set, which could make for some crazy banners. The howdah/seat is made of 4/5 separate parts, a smaller saddle which is in two halves, then the outer parts which vary depending on what you want to build. There are four shield/shoulder protectors, so you have two left over after building the monster. Almost the whole vulture is also separate, unfortunately, his feet are molded to the ogre's arm, but some creative converting could probably hide that. The big spiky stonehorn tail is separate and could easily be put to use on a HPA. All of the stuff on hooks are individual, looking at the sprue you get a tounge, two chickens, an empire soldier, a chaintrap, a noose, a barrel, some meaty ribs, assorted knives and nasty sharp looking things, a hammer, a pot containing...something goopy and a hammer. There's also an individual crossbow/harpoon launcher and various quivers of harpoons. Moving onto the mournfang set, more things on hooks. A leg of...something, a steak, some skulls. There are various spikes made to stick onto the riders helmets, but could easily be used elsewhere. There's also an individual ogre pistol. There are also shoulder plates that are curved underneath intended to stick to the ogre's shoulders, but they could easily be stuck to rat ogres or anything else you want to stick them to. Not much else to say about the mournfangs. Lastly, the scraplauncher/ironblaster set. First off, the cannon is ENOURMOUS. It's roughly 3" long and just short of an inch in diameter. It's in two halves but there's no other parts on it that would make it difficult for converting to a warp lightning cannon or some such. The base the ogre stands on is pretty cool and made of an door, complete with a keyhole. You get three barrels (one topped with sharp things, another with cannonballs) and two treasure chests to play with. The ogre also has a sling containing cannonballs that can be build without having to attach to him, which would be good for a plague wind mortar conversion. The sabertusk pelt is also optional, but made to fit around the cannon, so might take a bit of work to fit it onto other stuff. The two large tusks are in two halves each and the rhinox is a seperate part as well. You get a two rhinox heads, unfortunately, there's not as many bits as the other sets. The scraplauncher has loads of spiky bits obv and 6 gnoblars. 7 if you include the rhinox prodder steering it. Just ask if you have any questions, I got all the new plastic kits and still have all the spare bits. |

Just out of interest what engravings are on the Ironblaster? I know it is meant to show the war in the heavens but I could only really make out a comet with the maw symbol on it. Sounds a lot of stuff for the Ogres a bit like the Giant kit. |

Some of it is covered by sheets of metal in typical ogre repair fashion, but I'll do my best. It's split into 5 section. Starting at the barrel end it shows a comet passing over a building on top of a mountain, then it shows a pile of bones with stars in the sky, then a pile of (I assume) rubble, with a flag planted in it under the sun, the 4th section is mostly obscured as it's where the cannon is attached to the tusks and there is large chunks of metal covering the other areas, the last image is of lightning striking a castle on a mountain. At the very end there are engravings of the comet that formed the Great Maw. |
