![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a good time to be a fatties player like m'self. Time for some skaven-y style plotting and specualtion about the horrid things some of these units might do to our rats. My personal favourite is the dude straight up throwing a bear trap at someone. Just seems like a massivly badass thing to do to a guy. "Oh wow look at that biOHGODMYFACE!" I can see some of you getting new Abominations out of the stonehorn as well. I've always liked the Ogres (always wanted to start an army, but looks like it'll never happen). Kinda wish the big white thing had been a mammoth instead of some tusked monster. Ogres 2.0 are going to have a lot of smashing power from the looks of these models. --Cap |

Oh my god, Whatever the top two things are they are too bloody awesome. At the very least one of them in going to be made into a HPA or I might have to just paint one up for a non-existent OK army. They all look terrific tbh, except the Scraplauncher, not really a fan. I have to say I like what they're doing with armies these days, instead of re-vamping perfectly good models, just augmenting them with new incredible creatures. I swear there was a rumour of plastic Yetees, any word on them? Or are we assuming there just re-relased as citadel finecast. |

I think it looks great, a large improvement from the current/old scraplauncher. Looks like they're going to make it into a kit, with the option to make either a Sky-titan Cannon or a Scraplauncher; whichever one you do make, it looks like there will be loads of additionals to kit-bash. --Cap |

The white animal is totally stupid, but otherwise I kinda like them. But a creature that can only eat leaves from 2 m up in the trees, and can only drink from a waterfall shouldn't be able to exist, not even if "a wizard did it". |

I've got to re-do my ogres now! I'm not keen on the heads of the two beasties at the top, or the weedy legs of the rhinox things in the the middle but these are some awesome modles. I wouldn't say the scraplauncher is good enough to replace my old one but with the amount of breaking it does plastic would be nice! I know it sounds like all I've done is complain but awesomeness needs no words! ps. as cool as the throwy trap is (traps beat rock, paper, scissors and everything if you didn't know) that would break even if you breathed near it pps. ppps. I had to . . .

They RUINED the High Elf Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes with new kits. The old metal ones are now about as rare and expensive as Genghis Khan's teeth and I am not happy about that. On the upsy-sides these new Ogre models look very nice. I sincerely doubt I'll ever collect an army of them but I wouldn't say no to being ground into the dirt by them some day. They do look like monsters straight out of a (very dark) fairy tale. There's a sort of creepy alien quality to them that I really like. From the scale of the Empire guy hanging from the rafters I reckon this is going to be yet another "BIGGEST EVER!!!" kit. I understand that GW need to market products but it's getting somewhat wearisome at the minute. We've only just had the new zombie dragon "biggest ever!!!" thing. Can we not have a break til the next one? Or at least bring out an army book for the halflings to balance stuff out? (j/k) They look like multi-kits too so anyone concerned that the scrap-launcher isn't up to scratch (kinda like it myself) could probably just assemble it as the cannon thing instead.
That's almost worthy of a sig! The thrown bear-trap also looks extremely cool no matter the practicality of it.

Why U do dis?!

Or naturally those creatures would hew them smaller, but in captivity, ogres purposefully let them grow bigger for sheer impressiveness. I'm wondering whats going on with GW. They sometimes toss out these terrible looking, rushed models, and then stuff like these come out.... they seem to be batting about 50/50 at the moment. |

I am looking to get a hold of the following items, as many as possible: The new style skulls from numerous kits (less heroic scale skulls) Any bits of skeletons (both older skeletons and new vc skeletons) Toppers from stormvermin banners (grey seer type skulls) I have lots of fantasy and 40k bits to trade, including: Imperial guard special and heavy weapons Daemonette bits Bits from land raiders, and chaos space marines clanrat arm weapons hellpit arms Ghoul and zombie bodyparts older metal Chaos marines Message me if you can help. | |

That's what I mean, instead of replacing perfectly good models, just introducing new ones, overall it means you have more models for every army which are all reasonable. I'm glad there sticking with the style of ogre as well. The new clan-rats for example are, imho, a massive improvement but that fact there so different from the old models makes it difficult to combine them. What they seem to be doing is bringing out new models which fit perfectly with the current them of an army, and as far as i'm concerned, that's a good thing. They get round armies faster as well. |

Not really a big fan of the tusked monsters, was expecting more mammoth-like creatures. The Rhinoxes are a bit of a dissapointment too actually, I was hoping for them to look like the FW ones... Well well, I guess I should stop being so negative about it. Those monsters would be nice to convert to HPA's though, and maybe the cannon to a WLC since I hate the new model. Damn I'm being cynical today... sorry. |
