It looks legal to me. Not a very good warband, especially for a Campaign though. You only have 2 heroes, and you NEED heroes for Income. Skaven are the only Warband in the game capable of starting with 6 heroes, help yourself and take all 6. Other than that, you have too few models. Rout tests begin when you lose 25% of your warband, which for you is 2 models. After losing 2 models, you take LD every turn or rout, and your highest LD is 7. -Blader |

As there is a Mordheim forum, I'm kicking this list into that direction. Greetz Mutate: Now that I'm done, the one necessity a Skaven warband has in Mordheim is the maximum amount of heroes. So, in your case, I'd drop the Rat Ogre, any light armour/ shields/ bucklers you have in your list. Your Skaven are wearing far too much equipment for a starting warband, so I'd begin gaining gold coins for your warband there. Perhaps check a few other lists in here and get some ideas from there. Like others have said, max out on heros and drop the equipment from the normal dudes. That said, don't underestimate slings. |

If anything, Slings with Cheap Henchmen and 6 heroes are what make Skaven so powerful, perhaps the strongest starting Warband out there. Depending on your gaming group, you might want to avoid going down the Full-Sling route, or else become that guy no one wants to play against ![]() -Blader |

Definitely, armour is way to expensive in Mordheim. The only armour you should have are bucklers for parry (but Skaven can't) or Helmets (which are excellent and can save a hero). -Blader |

Assassin Adept should have a bit better than that, my advice are a pair of Fighting Claws, or Sword, Dagger + Throwing Star to take advantage of his -1 to enemy armour, combined with his S4. Typically what I did was: Sword, Dagger + Throwing Star for Assassin Adept 2 Black Skaven with Fighting Claw Pairs Eshin Sorcerer with Club and Sword 2 Nightrunners with Club and Slings Then whatever cheap verminkin you want, swords are excellent due to parrying. I even bought helmets after the first couple games, instead taking the Fighting Claws first. This is because when you begin a warband, there are no rolls to find rare equipment, whereas if you went looking for Fighting Claws later in the campaign you'd need to send characters searching for it. -Blader |

Okay, blader i didn't copy you (fully) 85 Assassin atempt free dagger sword trowing stars 75 Black skaven Figthing claws 75 Black skaven Figthing Claws 57 Sorcerer free dagger sword sling 50 2NigthRunners 1st has: Club & sling 2nd has: Club & sling 128 4 Verminkin All have: swords & slings 30 2 giant rats The giant rat is to fill the last 15 points. If i change weeping blades to claws i can take another giant rat. If i take away the giant rat, the sling on the sorcerer and i switch weepers for claws, i can take another verminkin. Is this a better list? Any advice? Edited by WillQueek, 11th July 2011 - 12:17 PM.

The list itself is generally a lot better. My advice would be to drop Weeping Blades for Fighting Claws and take the extra Giant Rat: you need numbers and the Claws are actually better in combat, especially once you get some experience points and can take that Skaven Martial Art Skill in their unique list. -Blader |
