Let's say I begin the game with a Grey Seer or Warlock Engineer in a unit of Monks with the Plague Furnace. Normally they cannot leave the unit until it's no longer Unbreakable (when the Furnace is destroyed). What if I cast Skitterleap to try and move a character out? I'm thinking they cannot be moved from the unit by any means, but I was wondering if magically they might be? |

I think only clan Pestilens characters can join monks with a furnace (see FAQ), but the question will apply to the bell (and possibly monks if there are multiple priests). I believe you can skitterleap them out, although they will not be able to rejoin for the rest of the game. I could be wrong though. It might be in the FAQ. |

The Furnace wouldn't make a Grey Seer nor an Eningeer unbreakable. The Furnace only has that effect on Pestelins units/models. (those two couldn't even join a unit that has a Furnace). If the Grey Seer were on a bell and the Engineer were deployed in his unit the question could be posed; can the Engineer be skitterleapt out of the bell unit (by either himself or the Grey Seer)? I don't know the answer. I think it would be 'no', but I'm not 100% on the rules revolving around leaving unbreakable units in 8th edition. The Grey Seer couldn't skitterleap off of the bell because there are specific restrictions saying the Seer can never leave the bell. --Cap |

as far as im aware the only restrictions are on joining an unbreakable unit not on leaving one |

Daniel cannot possibly exist in a dimensional state. Recent studies show that people who have attempted to comprehend Daniel have either disappeared, died spontaneously, or driven themselves into a pertinent state of insanity and/or catatonia. <img src="http://www.heresy-online.net/daemons/adoptables/23041.gif" alt="Broken Adoptable Image" /><br><a href="http://www.heresy-online.net/daemons/levelup/23041-dark-whisper.htm" title="Level up this Daemon!">Level up Adoptable!</a> | |

Bakfire is correct. There is only a restriction on joining Unbreakable units. There is no restriction on leaving those units. So yes, you can skitterleap out of the unit but unless the character is unbreakable himself he can never join the unit again. |

i just came across page 5 of our faq and remembered this discussion. It says "At deployment, characters can be deployed in the pushing unit and will become Unbreakable, but cannot leave the unit as long as the Bell/Furnace is still there." |
