Power scroll is banned (obviously). Also, several other restrictions are in place as well. But we'll see how things turn out if i get to play against him today.

What are the other restrictions your group plays with? would any others effect strat for skaven? If you want to leave the power scroll at home thats fine, then take a few other tools such as power stones or scrolls that can still function and target them at that Lord bunker. Dreaded 13th is your best tool, when combined with things like scorch its just levels too many wounds for the Vampire to invoc back up to full. With the crumble ability ticking it then becomes only a matter of sniping the remaining vamps out of each unit.

Game is over - i tabled him with a loss of 2 warpfire throwers B)

My Abomb was charged by 24 grave guards with GW - they managed to inflict 1 wound before they crumbled and i overran into a ghoul bunker with vampire and necromancer.

My plague monk horde charged a ghoul horde. I didn't hit them face on, so i only got 36 attacks off, with rerolls on To Hit and To Wound - they crumbled to death in a single phase as well :D

The Dawn Attack scenario was my biggest asset however. His 8 blood knights w/ vampire lord were left alone on a flank, and pretty much were ignored until turn 5, where they were eaten slaves, plague monks and gutter runners.

I love hordes.

How about the feedback scroll? Vampires only have 2 wounds and they do not get an armor save.

Congrats on the game - now plot and scheme how you'll deal with the Blood Knights without Dawn Attack next time. :)

blood knights are easy to kill.... just hit them in the flank... other wise shoot. lol.

seriously... they arent that bad anymore... let them hit a unit of 40 slaves... he can chew them up for a couple of turns... they might even do a wound.
