Aiming on Sea Guards? Weren't there any Swordmasters in range? I haven't got a proper army yet, but I aim on using the Rocket when I can play. Goves some nice battle imagination too ("hey Captain, what is that thing... BOOM!". |

Hmm... Tightly packed elves + Doomrocket = Nicely done, rat-brother. I always field a Doomrocket. It usually hits where I want, but if it doesn't, I have so much shooting that it doesn't really matter! |

My best shot with the rocket was dead-center on a unit of 20 White Lions. Even with their improved save against shooting, the blast destroyed nearly 3/4 of the unit. Since then it's been way off target |

I have a Doomrocket in nearly every list. I've had it destroy 8/10 Swordmasters, it's nailed a group of spearmen killing 15ish. I'd say my best was landing it into a horde of Chaos Warriors, killing 19. |

I wiped out 20 of 21 sea guard on the top of turn one. My opponent was so put off. It worked so well I almost felt bad for erasing a unit before his first turn, but he was an elf, i got over it .

10 outriders, wiped out the unit in one shot on the last turn of a game - got me a draw instead of a loss at throne of skulls last month

30 DE Spearman if i m not mistaken. only the caster was alive with 1 wound. Hidden assasin killed properly! it was a 7th edition game so he was too cheesy and had to be killed soon

As the Old Greyseer was lying on his deathbed he passed on a few words of wisdom to his son: - War is not about winning son, its about your opponents losing more than you do. - But dad, if your opponents lose more than you do, you still win the battle, so its all the same, isn't it? - You are so young my son.....worthy opponents are on your side of the battlefield..... | |

I've taken a heafty toll on my mates DE's with the doom rocket, I never play without it. I think 15 Witch Elves is the best i've done so far. Was so damn happy. Must agree, id try to line him up about 15 inchs away and throw 4 dice, cant remember ever hitting my own guys or missing the enemy! |

I usually take one 15 point Warlock Engineer and just give him the Doom Rocket, nothing else. Skitterleap him to either side off the battlefield and let him aim at the masses of enemies all lined up perfectly for him. You cannot miss . After that, he is only worht 15 points, just run across the battlefield until your opponent wastes a round of shooting. During one of the battles my guy actually survived, charging a high elve bolt thrower.

I once killed 18 Temple gaurd out of a block of 30, next turn I had cast the dread 13th on it. Thanks to the Doomrocket I was the ensured the spell could wipe the whole unit plus the slann. I choose a particularly froggish looking clan rat to play the Slann. |
