Also, I should have cast the 13th Spell on his Trolls, since all six would have been turned into skaven, which would have been SWEET!

Not to rain on your parade, but the 13th can only be used on infantry type troops - so there is no turning trolls (monstrous infantry) into clanrats... But congrats on your victory! It was indeed a beardy list he brought, but you broke him anyway! :D

Thanks for the correction. Now I'm really glad I didn't get the trolls. My opponnet was actually the one who suggested it -- AFTER I had turned the Black Orcs! :P He then went on to say "13th is great against a Bloodthirster -- hey bid Daemon, you're a Skaven now!" LOL. I'll have to let him know it won't work. I love the idea of it, though.

IMHO, the 13th is too easy to get off with the new magic system. I suspect that the game designers wanted it to be really hard to make work, and that's no longer the case.

Welcome to 8th!

A single dwellers can annihilate 400 points, and a well placed purple sun j
just says "Oh, you came with an ini2 army, you lost, good bye"

Just because we skaven got a spell that can turn a unit of chaos warriors into squeeking rats does not mean that the other lores/armies are underpowered.
