What exactly is a warlitter? what would the model look like? Is it a body guard per say, or is it like a guy being carried on a platform carried by rats/slaves etc? whats the better mount, a warlitter or a bonebreaker? |

The description in the book mentions it being a fighting platform carried by slaves and guarded by Stormvermin, but I reckon modelling it as a big rat with a howdah on its back or as a throne carried by four Stormvermin would look sweet and would represent its 4 S4 attacks profile just as well. |

I like the idea of slaves and stormvermin on the base. Fitting them all there seems less likely. |

I've been working on one now and it'll be three "stormmonks" (basically pm with stormvermin heads) carrying my warlord on a captured dwarf shieldbearers shield. They'll be on a 40mm square base but if you want to make it more effective I'd suggest a 20 x 40 mm base that way you wont cancel out the two supporting attacks from the second rank. A throne like Squiggoth said is a good suggestion. I considered that but it needed a lot more converting so I went with the shield. |

actually 40x40 doesn't cancel out the supporting ranks at the warlitter is treated as one model and text is something like "models directly behind a model in combat may make a supporting attack" It just the 2 models behind the litter in the 3rd rank attack or 4th if horde. |

Donb't know how you would fit the model onto a 20x40 mm base since it takes four models to carry it. And the litter get 4 attacks anyway so you don't lose any attacks, you just trade 4 ws 3, str 3 atks for 4 ws 4 str 4 atks (when fielded with clan rats). |

TRADE I'm looking for Dark Eldar to convert into DE. Also looking for bretonnia lances and halberds. If anyone has any they would be interested in trading PM me and we can work something out. "And, most vivid of all, there was the dramatic epic of the rats––the scampering army of obscene vermin which had burst forth from the castle three months after the tragedy that doomed it to desertion––the lean, filthy, ravenous army which had swept all before it and devoured fowl, cats, dogs, hogs, sheep and even two hapless human beings before its fury was spent. Around that unforgettable rodent army a whole separate cycle of myths revolves, for it scattered among the village homes and brought curses and horrors in its train." – The Rats In The Walls, H.P. I made a warlitter by mutilating a corpse cart kit. I made it look kinda like a wheelbarrel with a chair mounted in it. I still need to shave a little of it, it just a scoche too bulky for a 40X40. I have it being pushed by stormvermin usually. The group I game with calls it the wheelchair of doom. |

Thanks for enlighten us. I thought of the litter as a palanquin, which you've shown it isn't. |

Litters and palanquins pretty much are the same thing. The link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litter_%28vehicle%29 pretty much says they were generally the same and varied only by region/nationality, but all were carried by men with poles. |

I converted a Cauldron of 1000 Poxes back in the bubonic court of nurglitch days. It is a platform with the cauldron on top carried over the heads of two rat ogres. its on a 40X80 base and does double duty these days as my second furnace and as my warlitter when I field it. I'm currently in process of converting a dedicated warlitter, but need a few more pieces. -Nurglus-the-Seeping-

I'm thinking of having my Eshin Warlord surrounded by a Triad guard that will count as a warlitter.
