I was just reading the storm banner entry, and the way it is worded it appers to hinder your shooting just as much as your enemies. Is this corect? If so, as a engineer with a moderate amount of guns, that is troubling. |

It's only a 50-50 chance it'll affect your stuff, though, because you activate it at the start of your opponents turn. And if it's active on one of your turns, it's a good chance to move your stuff which a lot of is move-or-shoot. |

When I read it I thought that it said at the start of your turn. That makes The Storm Banner much better in my opinion. Thank-you for the clarification. |

It costs a mere 50 points. This gives you the option of greatly neutering enemy shooting and enemy flyers. In some games there is no reason to activate it, such as when the dastardly dwarfs leave their warmachines at home. This is fine as it did only cost you 50 points. The only time I can see a reason to not have it in your army is when another magic banner more important, and you won't have a place to put the Storm Banner. |
