That is what the Sword of Anti-Heroes was designed for! With 5 characters, a Skaven Warlord would have 9 Strength 9 Attacks... You could even challenge him, and take on 1 HE character at a time (i.e. the other 2 characters in base contact with warlord would have to hit the unit). Now all you have to do is make sure your Warlord won't die from the challenger's St 7 attacks (Ward save! - and how about scrolling that +3S spell that round!?!) and your unit won't break from the other 25 or so kills (how about the 100 Slave bunker? - get yours for only 200 points!). So if your warlord survives, he should hopefully kill a character, and you are around for another turn -> now, he HAS to move Teclis to the front rank (hopefully) while you could then either hit Teclis, with your character, or the slaves (whoever's touching him, and get another 9 S 9 attacks (there's still 5 characters touching warlord's unit)... The main problem will be keeping the Warlord alive for much longer, as another round of rerollable hits at S7 from the HE characters is likely to finish him... (Skalm might be possible here).... At the final analysis, you may have to accept sacrificing your Lord, and 200 points of slaves, in order to kill 1 HE character and Teclis... but given that that is the main unit he has, then it may just be enough. Remember, that if you have this unit pinned for a turn, that might just be enough to bring some flank chargers in too, for a bit of more damage (although unlikely to win the combat, if he's killing 25-30 slaves per turn...) Also don't forget to fire your warpfire throwers into this combat (Slave unit- expendable)...

Generally, it's not impossible to devise a ploy to deal with a specific 1-trick pony, if you know that's what's coming next game...

Page 134 says the caster must select the lore in their army roster.

According to 134 also, you ignore the fact that Teclis gets to pick before the battle because in this one instance, BRB trumps the army book.

Well spotted.
