A friend of mine sent this to me free with some corpse cart rats so I could make some Rat swarms or more giant rats.

When was this figure made? I think it might be Marauder era, since it does say "marauder" on the metal tab.

Any info would be appreciated.
Twisted, evil, treacherous, and diabolical rats wielding arcane technologies that are dangerous to foe and friend, that care not for their kin and are constantly plotting against each other. What more need I say about what makes Skaven cool?

Have spare little rats from the old clanrats, current plague monks, corpse cart, or individual rats from the doom wheel? PM me. I want them. 30 more needed.

Oh wow I love this old-school figure! Its an old Engineer I believe...

I couldnt give an exact date, but it was around when I started gaming which was 14 years ago. 6th edition Skaven were released a few years later, and that model kind of went OOP around that time. So, if I had to hazard a guess, Id say its release date would have been around 17 years ago (this is purely a guess based on my knowledge of the time though!)

@Sammy: Thank you very much! That is AWESOME!

I love having old school figures. There is something fun about them. Heck, I have a ton of the old Chaos Dwarf big hats.

Think people would object to my using him as a Warlord or a Chieften possibly? I love this sculpt.

It is an astounding figure, especially for a sculpt that old. I highly doubt anyone would have a problem with you using him as a Warlord or even a Grey Seer, just point out before the game what he is. If they actually have a problem with you doing so then they probably arent worth playing, and cant appreciate the beauty of old miniatures...

On that topic, I also love the old big-hat chaos dwarfs. I know most people say they look silly, but they just remind me so much of that era of Warhammer that I cant help but like them! Shame I cannot get them anymore. Even on ebay they are rediculously expensive... <_<

I have more (I have two Great Tauruses, and one has the original Lord). I have 2 shakers and crews as well as 2 rockets and crews. I also have some Blunderbuss. I either don't have photos, or I am repainting them.

I also have some foot characters not shown as well. One is even sitting at my painting table.

Yep...as Sammy quite rightly said, that's an early 90's Marauder Miniatures Warlock Engineer.

A bit of background on Marauder can be found at SoleLegends

I still have my old big hats from when I played plus the Chaos Dwarf army book (well white dwarf presents) I might be interested in selling them actually.

And yes that is an old 90s Warlock Engineer.
