Thought i would start a cheeky little topic for what people have killed with the 13th spell. Today in first turn i had it kill 7 grail knights with a lord which promptly miscast and i lost d3 power levels on my seer! leaving me with just warp gale as a spell! |
| Assassin kill toll: 1 oldblood, 1 vampire lord, 2 chaos lords, Bretonnian lord, 3 Minotaurs and numerous champions with overkill. An ever growing list! | |

Well then you did play it wrong, Sadly the spell only affects infantry models. But then again with the 8th edition boost to infantry it aint half bad ;D |

you know i only just thought of this while waiting for my dinner. oh well it was only a friendly match and both of us were quite unsure with new rules and it wasn't exactly a game changing result |

Hack 'n Slash!

I cast it on a unit of Bestigors with lord and ended up killing 15 of them (not sure if they would have turned since the Lord was unaffected), then realized I had lost a wizard level earlier and couldn't have even used the other power dice to cast, and we reversed the casting. Every other time I tried I miscast, haha. (7th ed) |

Nearly same for me. I finally cast it in a match last week against beasts and killed 14 of his unit of Gor. just leaving his shaman standing out on his lonesome. Realised afterward we should have started to randomise for casulties once there was only the character and 4 RnF left, oh well. Was glad to get it off without using total power! |

2 games ago I cast it and took out 17 Temple Guard and a Slaan. Last night I cast it on a deathstar unit of Chaos Warriors and killed 19, leaving only a standard bearer, Lord, and Sorcerer Lord making their own 3-man unit. Power Scroll + Warp Stone ftw. |

I cast it exactly on 25 against the Lizardmen, but got dispelled. Next turn I cast it on IF. I'm actually thinking of using 2 Grey Seers in 'Ard Boyz. If I roll 10-12 dice, I just might be able to get the 13th Spell off twice in the same turn! Hahaha <maniacal Grey Seer laugh> |

Id be wary about double GS against Lizards with becalming cognitation. losing 6's is such a kick in the nuts. P.S. cant believe you played a Liz player without becalming so you could devistate his slann unit like that! |

You can always use a power scroll to get around that. ANY roll of a double is Irresistible Force. It's a one use only scroll that you have to declare before you roll. Just play it with a warp stone token and roll 7 dice and you are (almost) guaranteed IF... but also a miscast. Plus the Slann I played used Focused Rumination and Focus of Mystery. |

While not quiet on topic of the 13th spell. I did skitterleep my level 2 warlock (my only caster) infront of 2 large Sarus warrior blocks. Then put the 6 remaining dice into casting howling warpgale, misscast and got to place the large template on him. Killing about 10 Sarus, and his BSB. The warlock however lived (my opponent rolled a 1 to wound him). Awesome  |
