You can not find it because it does not exist. Special characters are reserved for breaking the balance of the game anyways!

Combine that with the "Great Weapons always strike last regardless, unless you're ASF then you just strike in initiative order". So, for instance, a HE with a great weapon will always strike in initiative, and a DE with a great weapon will always strike last. |

Could you reroll the 1s and avoid the self-wounds? It says in the book that you are immediately wounded once you roll two 1s... |

I'm pretty sure that is the definition of a reroll. |

the official rule is if you have asf and higher initiative than your opponent, than you reroll to hit. if youi have asf and a great weapon, than you only strike with your initiative all of a sudden deathmaster snikch and all other assassins just got stupider (amasing) i know this because i read my stores copy of the book. i love it, only downside is that high elves just turned from amasing, all the way to on speed, crack, adrenaline, i dunno, pretty much theyre all rerolling to hit 90 % of the time. (facepalm)

atleast the that stops swordmasters striking first, rerolling to hit at str6 though. I'm not worried, they are still toughness 3 elves in mostly light armour |

Two assassin builds I'm currently considering for 8th are: 1.) Blade of corruption + The other rouge shard ([15 pts] All models in base contact (friend and foe) need to re-roll successful saves) Depends on exact wording if it forces the assassin to reroll saves. ![]() 2.) Weeping blade + Potion of Stregth ([20 pts] Only one use, +3 strength) Potentially even use both of those in the same army for some serious character hunting? |

Option 1 is ok but I don't you you need the armour save thing I would rather put poison on with the chance for a re roll and more 6s. They only have to get 2 through in most cases and it's minus 2 to normal saves if they have tooled up on saves it wont be wielding a nasty magic weapon. |

Decker, it does not mention the item wielder himself, just those in base contact with him. BTW the award for best item name goes to the Terrifying Mask of EEEE! , that had everyone in the shop busting up for some reason. |

it may be nt picking but it doesn't say anywhere assassin's lose their posion attacks if they buy a magic weapon...

Unless the rules changed in 8th, assassins should still have poison on their magic weapons, the poison in the scavange pile only pertaining to those who buy it via the Scavange Pile. Anyone else who either always have it (assassins) or who can upgrade with it(GR) in the skaven army has the "normal" rules for poison. It was covered in the FAQ. |
