I'm in the process of making a Warlitter right now, but I'm lacking the most important part: the platform. Now, the Priest platform from the Furnace immediately jumps to mind, and I probably could snag one off e-bay if I were patient, but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas? If you've made a Warlitter before, what are some cool bits that you used to really make it stand out? Also, are there any specific bits from different armies that I should keep an eye out for, especially for making the base and platform? |

Various smaller chariots work well. I made mine from plasticard and greenstuff. |

What were you planning on using for platform bearers. The majority of the ones I've seen so far used the current plastic stormvermin. Will you be doing the same? Nice warlitter! Were the stormvermin difficult to convert for this? Hoping more people will post here as I'm also planning on making one too! |

Clanrat

I put 6 clanrats under a broken orc chariot. Cut off the yolk and broke the wheels and made it look like they pillaged it and the warlord just jumped in |

Slaves, actually. Even though it does indeed say Stormvermin in the book (if I remember correctly). Mainly because I don't have any extra Stormvermin models, but also because I just love putting my slaves in horribly degrading situations. After all, it's what they're there for. Thanks for the chariot suggestions, guys. While I wasn't able to find any Orc or Beastman chariot bits, I was able to find a TK chariot super cheap on e-bay, so I'm sure that'll look nice once it's all painted up with Skaven runes and whatnot. |
