This looks like a very solid list to me, should be fine. No real suggestions for improvement . . . I've fielded a very similar list in fact, and seems quite balanced. I think personally I'd take a doomflayer over a ratling gun, but presumably you're going with models, given the 2 WTs you've taken. You might also consider skalm over the ward save on your seer - I've found that more effective overall, since I don't send my seer into combat much. If you're new to skaven, you learn fast

Let's talk about the ratling gun. It's in the list b/c I'm having a difficult time dealing with fast cav & terradons. The idea was that the ratling gun and clan rats would counter these threats to my flank. But...I don't see many lists on this site with ratling guns. How's everyone else dealing with fast cav and the like. (Aside from the Abomb) Specifically, what else could I do with the units in my list. |

A Ratling gun will serve that purpose well it is just that other Weapons teams are generally more effective and better value for points.

Well your jezzails, doomwheel, and censer bearers can all counter fast cav pretty easily. The ratling gun was pretty much a staple of 6th edition skaven. GW wanted to sell more models so they nerfed the staple and made the previously poorer choice, the WFT unbelievable. The WFT can tear up small units and wreck big units. It isn't as reliable as the ratling gun though. And when it goes it goes big. It can take a large chunk of the army out with it. |

Ratling guns are OK but warpfire throwers for a little more are far more reliable. Its only 1 roll if it doesn't misfire you can cover a lot of models. My enemies hate the warpfire so much they often target it over my units.
