I have just recieved my mordeim 'thing in the woods' model. I bought it cus I thought it would make a cool abomb. After I got it my mind blanked. What should I do with this foul lion-dog-rat beast thing. Suggestions please. |

the nice thing about everyones abomination conversions is that they're unique, i mean, my abom' isn't really even very ratty lol. i suggest looking through all the other abom threads for inspiration. you could use the mini as it is. it already looks like a big angry rat monster. if you want it to look weirder then maybe on some of the skeletal areas, build up flesh on them using green stuff and maybe have some rat ogre bitz like extra arms or heads coming out. make it look like they're straining against the flesh to burst from the side of the bigger creature? that'd look pretty cool. either way, post up some pics to share your mini with others that might be lacking ideas

It uses a 50mm base to give you an idea. It has a wide stance but I guess it's not really big in terms of mass. It's like a Krootox on steroids. I bought one years ago planning on making a Master Moulder mount before warlord mounts were official. It's collecting dust unfortunately. But man, it's funny what members here at UE come up with and what ends up in the new book, yeah? You should check out the threads here before the new Skaven book came around- a lot of cool ideas and conversions. |

![]() if the img dont work click here After googling it I think it would make a great warlord mount (bonebreaker). Make a saddle but have the warlord more standing in the stirrups (as if he doesn't really trust it and is ready to bail out at any time) and I'd gfet rid of that ridiculus bottom jaw, and sculpt a new one, also sculpt some bigger front teeth. Sculpt alot more fur on to him, long hair like fur in places like the rump. Then of course sculpt a rats tail. It would make a pretty decent abomination too, but it would need a lot of extra bits for that. I'd add some scryre machenery myself, along with extra arms and heads all from the ratbits we have, don't forget to make the rat swarms just in case you need them. There's plenty of other aboms lately you can use for inspiration, they are all excellent specimens. |

Anyone have a pic of this next to a normal rat ogre? Its a great looking model but not sure it would make a good abom or even a good bone breaker. Might make an interesting pox rat though. It does look kinda tiny. How does it compare to the necromunda caller? The caller looks a lot bigger and more abominous. Though the caller does cost more. |

I personally would keep the bottom jaw, maybe straighten up some of the edges a bit so that it looks like a warpstone shard. |

Maybe some extra large see-in-the-dark eyes like on the tunneler-thingies from Colin Grayson's Skaven Army featured in the January issue of White Dwarf. Unfortunately I can't find any pics of it on the net, but it's basically wide open, large, black, shiny (gloss varnished) eyes with inflamed looking eyelids. |

Yeah all the spiney things on its back are gonna be warpstone spikes. I was thinking about saying that this things base creature was a werewolf type thing that they captured. They can only attack with it at night because during the day it turns back into a human but keeps its agumentations that stay the same size and are extremely painful. Idk just an idea |
