Ok my idea for a mounted warlord be it not so interestin, is to use my old blood bowl Rat Ogre and buy the new Queek and have him jumping over the rat ogre as the Ogre is positioned facing downwardly with his rat ogre arm held high as if he is going to smash some thing into the ground. If anyone has any made there own warlord any suggestions ? Or even better pictures ![]() looking for inspiration all comments welcome. |

I've googled for a few before and they're quite rare, I think the usual is to have the warlord standing on top of the ratogre like he's surfing it, with some sort of chain bridle. One conversion actually had the warlord sitting in a pouch hanging on the ratogre's chest, which was interesting and not something I expected :P. The trickiest part would be, I guess, trying to get the ratogre horizontal enough so that the warlord can ride the back properly (and not the shoulders), the other thing is a warlord standing on the back is a funny way to ride, sitting would be much more realistic. If you're using Queek, it's a possible opportunity to avoid that "surfing" look if Queek is jumping off a platform or saddle, so it looks like he's not just standing on the ratogre's back. Just tossing out a few ideas. Which bloodbowl model are you using, btw? I'd love to see it (IMO the poses of the plastic ogres' bodies aren't very helpful for making a bonebreaker conversion). |

I've wondered if it would be possible to use the Plague Furnance rat ogre as a shield bearer, holding a shield up flat with the warlord standing on it. It could look cool, could look like a waiter serving a drink  |

Ha ha That would be funny because it would also look like he is holding the warlord up and away from the battle  I am holding out to see if GW releases a bonebreaker, but my idea was to make a rat ogre version of the Strohm Knight rat mounts. (Can't find a picture) |

Thats actually an idea i've been thinking about doing as Queek's got the perfect position to pull it off. |

Well, what clan do you prefer? 1.) We have Plague Lord Nurglitch with a nice but somewhat unclean mount: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1090629 2.) Then we have the leader of Stroehm's cavalry, Baron Ozhoem (Rackham OOP): http://www.morgenwelt.org/shop/product_inf...ntation-goblins 3.) Then we have this rat skeleton mount from Necromunda: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1120103 4.) Then we have this smallish ratmount from Obelisk Miniatures: http://shop.strato.de/epages/61074886.sf/d...22AHRC%20003%22 5.) If it should be a crouching rat ogre, we have this one by Impact! http://www.ffstore.it/ratmen-bigz-248/giant-wrat-1261.html and this one by Goblinforge http://www.ffstore.it/ratmen-bigz-248/geg-...-ogre-1220.html So much for now. |

Since when did Necromunda have special characters??? I like the Necromunda: The Caller I might have to get one just COS! I will produce a picture when I dig him out I am packing all non used things up to move house at the moment, As the bone breaker is the only rat ogre that takes my liking he will be in that box till I sort him out. I don't really favor any clans I prefered Moulder but they seem to be a little lacking in my onpinion my list is rather balanced between the clans. |
