Nice idea but needs work. You have lots of Rat Ogres, but the packs arent built in the optimum way. Id say if you are going for units of 2, upgrade one of them to a Baster-Bred and the packmaster to a Moulder with great weapon. This unit will be able to dish out 9 s5 attacks and 2 s6. Totally brutal. Take 2-3 units of those and a few bigger units, preferably with Skweel in one and Throt in the other. They would probably be better with Giant Rat units, but since you are trying to avoid using smaller models then itd have to be Rat Ogres instead... Also, I am of the opinion that its 1 master per 2 Rat Ogres. Make sure your gaming group is ok with the 2 for 2 before taking them in that pattern... - Sammy |

I'd say you should have at least two units of 4 Rat Ogres. The 2 Rat Ogre units are good flank runners, but you need something big enough that it can try and take an enemy head on, especially when you only have 1 fully ranked unit. Also, Throt has better leadership than the Priest, so he'll have to be the army general. |

shooty armies will hammer it , massed ranks will break you through rank resolution, nice idea though but wont work for the same reason ogre kingdom armies fail would be scary to face though

You have 6 specials in a 2k game............ ooooooooops I missed that first line and I don't use named characters so my bad. What this list probably cries out for is the storm banner. |

He also has Throt the Unclean, who allows 2 Rat Ogre units to be core. |

I'd take a big unit of 4-6 rat ogres with squeel. Regen would be sweet on that unit. Maybe throw in a cheap unit of 10 sv with the storm banner. | |
