Squeek: 1 chieftain additional hand weapon/halberd/shied cant decide which is better? 2 Warlock engineers both level 2 1 with a condenser 30 slaves musician 20 slaves or 50 slaves with a musician cant decide which is the better choice 10 night runners warp grinder doomwheel my plan is to use the night runners to destroy any artillery and bolt throwers clearing the path for my doomwheel and slaves units to come through. my warlocks will cast warp lightning at any small missile units like crossbow men and archers. my doomwheel will take out anything big. please comment and help me improve my list

at 650 points I would NOT be taking 3 characters. Your Chieftan is going to be worthless. You realize you have no decent rank and file troops? Take out that chieftan and 30 of the slaves and you should be able to fit in a small unit of clanrats... With that amount of support, I'd say 2 lvl 2 casters and a doomwheel should be more than enough firepower to deal with anything anyone could field at 650 points. |

3 characters and a Doomwheel is too many points spent on too few models at 650 points. Your slaves will not "go through" anything at all on a frontal charge- they should be used to set up flank charges by accompanying units. Also note that at 650 points both the doomwheel and the NR tunnelers may not have many (or any) targets worth aiming them at... More advice available, but I wanna know: What's more important to you, your character choices or the doomwheel? |
