Well, after much laziness and lack of work I've finished my first figure in a while. Welcome to the halls please, ![]() (admittedly I may have forgotten to gloss varnish the wood, but that will be corrected eventually. Oh, and the right foot looks alright in real life, it's just the pic :P) What do you think guys? -Glod |

Well, the rifle butt (or whatever it's called) looks disproportionate to the rest of the weapon. And the left sword doesn't seem too practical. On the other hand, i'm really digging the armor and cloak. And the fact that he's a sniper despite having no depth perception. |

People with one (working) eye can have depth perception... it just takes a long time and a lot of work. I think the sword is way to long and the but is a little to thick for his gun, but i am interested in what you made the scope out of. |

The butt is actually based on a real rifle, oddly. I can't remember what it's called but I found it in a book of small arms we have at home. Over all I was going for the cartoon look rather than the realistic one, thus the over sized sword. ![]() As for having one eye, wouldn't that help if he's looking down a scope? ![]() The scope is just a very fine peice of sprew from a tank kit... Cheers for the comments guys BTW he's based (loosely) off the character Richard Sharpe from Bernard Cornwell's books, thus the green armour with silver erm... buttons?Glad you like it though ![]() -Glod |

In my personal experience (I am legally blind in one eye... so lots of blurry shapes, not exactly blind), it helps when you need to focus on the object but it is a little harder to find the object in the first place

I like what you've done there, especially the armour and the rifle. The only thing I feel I should point out is how bendy the sword is. Perhaps you should try straightening it out? The fact that it's such a long sword, yet only one handed also seems a little strange to me, too. Although this IS a mini for a *Fantasy* game, so I don't see why that would be a problem. |

The sword is interesting, the 3 rats standing behind him are gonna get it now The blood on the dagger looks cool to. |

At first I thought he was waving a boat rudder, but once I figured it was a rifle I appreciate the steampunky look. But I do agree with bloodstream that the bendiness in the sword blade kinda detracts from it. Maybe a blunted pin might work in its stead? |
