So, I noticed the Screaming Bell causes fear. As a mount for the Grey Seer that would make him cause fear as well right? So if he joins a unit(which seems to be mandatory) he does not pass his fear along to the unit but only makes them immune to fear. But seeing as how the bell and the unit it is with is unbreakable, does this not seem completely pointless or am I missing something? |

You cause fear, so your opponent have to pass test to charge unit with bell. It also causes fear-ovenumber vs units with US under 6. |

Yep if they fail the test they need sixes to hit the seer or the bell. They can still mow down regular rats though. Not much you are going to outnumber though so you probably won't be auto breaking anyone. |

As far as i remember if a fear causing model joins a unit, whole units counts as fear causing. Anyway lets say u have 20clanrats and the bell. so u have 35Us. If the enemy fails his test then they can NOT charge you. Also if you charge to enemy again a ld test is required. if it fails then they have to flee. I highley doubt if you will face a single unit with US>35. so its an important rule... |

For the purposes of fear and terror you only count the models which actually cause fear or terror to determine unit strength. For example a Lizardman unit of skinks with a single Kroxigor in it counts as US 3 for Fear, not US 10+. It *does*, however, make the skinks immune to fear (since they have something burly with them I guess) so they can charge fear causers without the test. Being unbreakable, the unit hauling the bell around is never going to worry about making a test itself but it is enough to make other units pause and think before charging and can break small units of knights which have taken a few casualties. |

The bell isnt US 15 either since its a mount it is US 6 (+1 if the seer is alive) |
