So I ran my warpfire thrower into a house the other day and it brought up some questions. 1. What unit strength are Weapon teams 2. Are they infantry 3. If the above are true, do doom flayers have a 360 charge. I think the answers are as follows 1. US 1 2. yes 3. yes, this makes them quite a bit better. |

1. probably 2. nowhere does it say they are anything else (its not the 6th book) 3. the are units of 1 model and thus have a 360 LoS no matter if their US unless they are chariots or monsters |

1) Aren't they US2? There are 2 guys sharing a base, like a horseman or a jezzail. 2) Yes. 3) I don't think they do. In 6th edition they were skirmishers, but now weapon teams lost that rule, although ratling guns and WFT can still pivot on the spot. |

1) needs to be FAQ'd, although the army book says to treat as a single model but the cavalry base and the 2 models are causing issues. 2) Yes 3) needs to be FAQ'd, although the army book says to treat as a single model the loss of the skirmisher rule and an unknown Unit strength are causing issues. Although imo the single model wording in the army book seems pretty straightforward that the monkeys who "wrote" the book intended for them to have all the rules of a single infantry model on foot. |

the BRB states that single model units have a 360 LoS and the rules for chariots and monsters counter this with specific rules.... this really shouldn't be an issue, only US should |

Actually, the BRB says that characters with a US of 2+ or riding a cavalry steed or monster follow the movement rules for monsters (p.72). And would, hence, have a 90 arc of vision. So the answer to question #2 is clearly "yes". The answers to questions #1 and #3 are related. If they are US 2, then they ought to have a 90 arc. If they are US 1, then they ought to have a 360 charge arc. I'd go with Yobtar and say they're US 1 with the accompanying 360 degree charge arc. But this is one issue that is truly debatable until the FAQ comes. |

they follow the rules for movement, that means that they can only wheel once during a charge, unlike skirmishers who just go where they please.... thats it. the arc of sight can very well be 360 but unlike skirmishers who can zig-zag between units to get to their desired target during a charge, those characters can only do so once. |
