Ok, for those of you who care about such things: I was hanging 5 in my local GW this past weekend, and I was lucky enough to be there when the regional manager showed up to have a chat with the local blackshirt. Anyway, after a while, the regional manager claps his hands together to gather the attention of the dozen or so hobbyists in the store and says "So, who wants to see something that no other GW in this country has yet?" Of course, we're all curious and proceed to gather around the hobby tables. When he has our full attention, the regional manager dumps a few sprues on the table. These sprues contain: * 1 x Plastic Fellbeast with options to make it horned, etc. * I think 2 plastic nazgul to ride it, one a normal ringwraith, the other the witch king * Plastic gors, very nicely modelled with weapon options * Plastic ungors (they now come on separate frames, which makes me think separate box sets) with weapon upgrades, including..........bows. Yes, bows. For the first time in a long time, Chaos now has a shooting regiment. So, for those of you who play either LOTR or Beastmen, enjoy. |
| You kids these days have it so easy, what with your Plague Furnaces and your Hellpit Abominations and your Bonebreaker Warlords. Back in MY day, all we had was Slaves and Clanrats!...and auto-hit Ratling Guns...and skirmishing Jezzails...and 2D6 Warp Lightning...and Lead From The Back...wait, what was my arguement again? | |

I think about the same. They have the nice modelled detail that things like the new Skaven have, but I dont think they have radically changed looks wise (like our clanrats did). Of course, I could be wrong on this, seeing as I dont play beastmen, so they all look the same to me
