Scenario: A Grey Seer is on a Bell. The unit is not in combat. The Grey Seer suffers a wound which is Saved by the Scrying Stone. He subsequently fails his Leadership test for Stupidity in the following turn. Question: How does Stupidity work in this situation? The Grey Seer technically has to run forward as per "stupidity", but A.) He cannot leave the Bell, and B.) The unit pushing the Bell is not subject to Stupidity Thoughts? |

Well he can leave the bell. It doesnt say he CANT it says he cant leave the bell voluntarily leave it. This is probably one of those situations where he can leave it. compulsorily movement would force him off the bell. But that is me. If there wasn't some way the grey seer could leave the bell. They would have just said they can never leave it no matter what. Mutate - Why you would give him that item is beyond me. |

Page 78 of the core rulebook discusses such a scenario. If a stupid character is in a regular unit and the character fails his stupidity-test, the entire unit is treated as being Stupid, because the entire unit is confused by the stupid orders of their leader. I kinda have to agree with Furry, why give him a 1 time 3+ with drawbacks when he's already got a full time 4+ with no down side? |

actually it does say the only way a grey seer can leave the bell unit is if it is destroyed... |

your right. I should learn by now. GW doesnt like to put all the important rules in one spot. They do like saying one thing here then another thing somewhere else. |

I believe there was a three page discussion in the Pestilence forums where I was soundly flogged for asking that question. |

Nah, you were flogged for asking why give a Priest a 1 time 3+ when you could give him a Full time 5+. Changing the 5+ to a 4+ and not taking the points from the Seer's Magic Item pool makes it a whole different situation.

I may have momentarily forgotten the Automatic 4+ Ward granted by the Bell... Nevertheless, it's still a plausible scenario. Thanks for the replies ![]() /facepalm |
