Hello i am new to the skaven army and i was looking through the clans (lexicanum) and i decided that a moulder army would suit me good.I need some help with this i am getting a fair amount of clan rats and slaves and i was thinking about greyseer Thanqual and bone ripper to lead the army. Also rat ogres and giant rats will be a must. If any one has any more suggestions on other good units for it that would be very helpfull.

If you're going to get a moulder army skweel gnawthooth is a good choice also getting some warp lock jezzails or a wlc could give you're abominations of nature some covering fire

I dunno, I'd suggest bringing Throt the Unclean. He makes 2 units of Rat Ogres as core, and Giant Rats count towards the minimum core choice units. You wouldn't even have to bring Clanrats! (though I would for some weapon crews.) But Thanqoul and Boneripper are pretty cool. And 2nd on the Skweel Gnawtooth thing, I think he is a great special character that doesn't even take up a hero slot for making a super unit of Rat Ogres or Giant Rats. |

I don't know.. A lord on a Pox Rat in a nice big unit of Giant Rats would look really cool. And I've never been a big fan of Thrott. 3 nice big units of Giant Rats.. 3 units of slaves as your core. Some Rat Swarms. Rat Ogres, Big Abomination... OH YEAH. Maybe one unit of Clanrats with a BSB with the Storm Banner in it.. it's not like you have any guns

Maybe I missed something, but where does it say that? |
| As it turns out, no, I don't love the smell of warpfire in the morning. | |

Clanrat

Page 98. Its pretty easy to miss, but it is in his Army List profile, but not in the special rules are in the bestiary. Same with Skrolk and Queek's upgrades to the army. |

The only beef i have with throt (and keep in mind ive never played, so what do i know?) is that his statline is worse than queeks, but for slightly more points. I suppose however that this is really because of that ability to turn rat ogres (x2) and all giant rats into core units then? Oh and maybe cos his weapons have killing blow too..... |
