Okay, so i've been playing warhammer for many years and have avoided the rat-things because of horrible models and and I hate playing against them. But with the new models I decided that it was someone elses turn to dread playing me. I have many army's under my belt so I'm no novice to the game. Here is my list for dual furnace tourney shinnagins. Characters Warlord warlock augment weapon shield of distraction rival hide talisman two warplock pistols (Can I do this?) Bone crusher 236 Plaque priest furnace flail piebaldpipes 279 plage priest furnace flail 254 704 core 3 units of 25 slaves 150 3 units of CR w/shield, standard, and musc 374 GR 23 GR 23 573 special 30 plague monks Champ, standard 230 plague monks (same) 230 7 Censor Bearers 125 8 Jezzails + sharp shooter team 170 755 Rare doom wheel 150 2247 total Please be overly critical |

I would say that buying 2 of the pistols is a no-no but i think there is a debate going about it. personally i don't think the warlock augument is actually worth the points paying 25 points for 1 more attacks seems a bit iffy. I like the litter more than the RO as it can't be killed and you even get +1 armor save. My take on defencive warlord: enchanted shield, foul pendant (rather 5+ ward than 1 time reroll to hit) tail weapon, poison attacks, litter. 188 points comes with 1 less attacks than your warlord, much less str tho but the attacks he makes himself are poisonous. also he has 1+ armor save and 5+ ward (could take warpstone armor for the hit reflecting too - would be 211 with that and shield)
not sure about the pipes, i almost would think the -ld item would serve a better purpose (rather let him come and help him break)
a nice item option for priest is scrying stone as it is cheap and potentially makes a huge difference in his wounds. i would pick a bsb for your warlords unit as he can't join one of the furnace units picking either one of the damaging banners.
i like my clanrats 30 strong ang my slaves 21 strong but who am i to judge
not sure about the Jezzails i think there couls be more usefull things to get with those points (bsb being one). i also trie not to leave the den without a pack of gutters as they are so usefull and relatively cheap too also picking the other one of the damaging banners for the other plaguemonks would be a good idea (only one of them gets a banner
i like the combination of doomwheel and cannon they seem to give a nice balance of shooting with melee bashing, but there is always the point toal to consider |

Thank you. That is the kind of imput I need. I like the jezzails because were I play, I got every to follow my lead on the all cav WoC. They have trashed my army before and while I cursed and swore at the blighters, I secretly admired their destructive power. I was thinking about an abomination, but i think that will be a little much for people to handle. |

so are multiple stegadon lists / dragon and hydra lists but you still see a lot of these at tournies so go for the abomination |

Daniel cannot possibly exist in a dimensional state. Recent studies show that people who have attempted to comprehend Daniel have either disappeared, died spontaneously, or driven themselves into a pertinent state of insanity and/or catatonia. <img src="http://www.heresy-online.net/daemons/adoptables/23041.gif" alt="Broken Adoptable Image" /><br><a href="http://www.heresy-online.net/daemons/levelup/23041-dark-whisper.htm" title="Level up this Daemon!">Level up Adoptable!</a> | |

You make a convincing argument. I will have to experiment with it and points haggle it. |

As someone pointed out to me earlier, he looses Handweapon/Shield bonus when mounted, it's a 2+ save. Who knew 7th edition skaven would have to know mounting rules?!?!? --Cap |

oh right you are - how silly of me well then there is no big reason not to use magic weapon, but i still think warlock enchanted is not worth it. i think warpforged would be way more usefull, as you allready have litter attacks etc so if you want to hit make them non-saved.(so wraforged pendant and enchanted shield with litter and tailweapon if you really want to use the last 10 points) |

Personally I'd prefer the WAW to the Warpforged blade in an all round list. Warpforged Blade only has an advantage against enemies with a 4+ save or better, and even then you have one less attack and are wounding on one higher. Unless I was facing an army with a lot of heavy cavalry or 2+ save infantry then I'd go for the WAW. |
