I have some questions regarding the plague furnace.

it says, in the "icon of The Horned Rat" that "...the plague priest and the unit of plague monks pushing the foul device are unbreakable..." does this include the funace it self?

if the entire unit of plague monks pushing it and the priest are killed, and the only model left is the furnace, AND if it's not unbreakable. does it autobreak as it has a ld of -?
is the furnace auto killed if it, for some reason, has to take a ld test? as from the Blade of Realities

is the furnace a monsterous mount? if so if the priest is killed, is the furnace ejected/auto killed?

does it have to make a enshrouded by fog or wrecker attack, or can it just do nothing?
is the enshrouded by fog attack an auto attack, as the plague cencer gas attacks?
if not, can it make both?

cheers!

here is one of the topics on this subject: http://underempire.net/index.php?showtopic...dpost&p=2953915

there is another but i cant find it in the last couple of pages - you would need to look further back....

basically we are waiting on the faq to resolve some of these questions.....

if all the monks are dead how can the furnace run away?

it is a special mount - what exactly that means we again are waiting on the faq for...

the fog attack is the censer attack and again weather it has to or not is again a subject of great debate.... if i get the chance to look i will post the link to the other topic
Daniel cannot possibly exist in a dimensional state.

Recent studies show that people who have attempted to comprehend Daniel have either disappeared, died spontaneously, or driven themselves into a pertinent state of insanity and/or catatonia.

technically no. the furnace on it's own does not gain unbreakable. it does however through the rules of psychology and mounts when it is ridden by a plague priest.

technically yes. any stat of - is treated as 0 pg 5? i think

again technically yes. but only if the LD test specifies it's own unmodified leadership otherwise it can use the best avaalable like any other model. (yes the blade of realities does specify unmodified so on that item you are screwed)

again technically yes. it also technically has to start rolling on the monster reaction table.

a model has to attack if able to pg front of the combat chapter. however if the furnace is not in combat ie the unit was flanked it doesnt have to

most of these are technicalities and don't make much sense because the rules in the BRB seem to be written with the idea that all mounstrous mounts are living creatures and they don't really make sense for inanimate objects. such an object that can't move on its own leaving a unit. or a machine being able to do anything but sit there.
