Well, after having spent almost two days just drewling over the many, many options in the book, I ended up with a thousand points armylist... Comments/ feedback on what works and what doesn't is much appreciated. Overall I like it. Personally, I'm finding the Master Moulder with Electro Whip to be somewhat lacking. I'm considering using the standard whip and toss in a Tail Weapon. Downside is a slightly lower potential for attack-spam, upside is you don't risk rolling bad for the whip strike number and end up wondering why you bothered (and saves a couple points). Just an idea to consider. Other thought, you've got 8.5 points free, I'd tack on another Stormvermin, you never know, he might even matter.

Good list, though it is short on models. Unless you are planning on facing some monsters and/or heavily armored units I would recommend dropping the jezzails for another clanrat regiment. The warlock and weapon team should provide enough firepower against most armies. |

Considering the people I generally face: Yes, I (unfortunately) do expect monsters and heavily armoured units. While I do know we can spam our enemies with large quantities of slaves, I personally wonder whether having a little over hundred models at a thousand points would be short on models. I usually have an average of ten models per hundred points in all my armies under two thousand points. Greetz |
