Well, after having spent almost two days just drewling over the many, many options in the book, I ended up with a thousand points armylist... Comments/ feedback on what works and what doesn't is much appreciated.

Overall I like it. Personally, I'm finding the Master Moulder with Electro Whip to be somewhat lacking. I'm considering using the standard whip and toss in a Tail Weapon. Downside is a slightly lower potential for attack-spam, upside is you don't risk rolling bad for the whip strike number and end up wondering why you bothered (and saves a couple points). Just an idea to consider.
Other thought, you've got 8.5 points free, I'd tack on another Stormvermin, you never know, he might even matter. ;)

Good list, though it is short on models. Unless you are planning on facing some monsters and/or heavily armored units I would recommend dropping the jezzails for another clanrat regiment. The warlock and weapon team should provide enough firepower against most armies.

Considering the people I generally face: Yes, I (unfortunately) do expect monsters and heavily armoured units.

While I do know we can spam our enemies with large quantities of slaves, I personally wonder whether having a little over hundred models at a thousand points would be short on models. I usually have an average of ten models per hundred points in all my armies under two thousand points.
