New 2000 pts skaven army

Hi this is the first army list Ive posted on the site. I use to play skaven in the 6th edition, but I fancied a change and drifted off to another army/armies.
I really like the queek headtaker fluff and also the model hence the reason its in.
If I didnt use the Queek as the general I would probably put in a normal warlord and add three more slave units and bulk up the rat swarm.

I quite like the look of the bell and plague furnace, but they seem very high points costs for this size of games especially the bell. It would be over a third of the armies points once a unit to push the bell was factored in.

In future could you please avoid using all CAPS? I know its just for the list itself, but still looks a tad too 'intense', best to just use regular text :)

For advice, I say drop the Gutter Runners down a few models. 10 is a few too many for any role they could play.
20 seems a tad small for the Stormvermin, but if upgraded as Queek's Stormvermin, that may be enough. I havent played them though, and as a general rule 20 is too small for skaven ranked units!

2 WLC's? Seems like everyone is dropping them with the release on the new book. What tactics are you planning for them?

I was planning on putting cannon both on one flank with jezzails, almost as an area denial weapon, and put the skirmishers and rat swarms on the other other. Im thinking that the unpredictability of the weapons might work in my favour.

Hopefully this will mean the other sides army is grouped together more, and therefore I can keep mine grouped together and benefit from the generals leadership for longer.Though these things never do go fully to plan.

Haven't got much experience with new rats yet, but here's my thoughts anyway.

I dunno, I like the WLC. They're dirt cheap relative to the other Rares and can still do plenty of damage. Sure they're random, but that's why you bring two :P

Queek is awesome, BSBs are awesome, and Stormvermin are awesome. Finding a way to get 3 more in there would be most agreeable, the extra rank insurance never hurts. If they're Queek's boys, you may want to go 6 wide and run 6x4 or 6x5 for extra attacks. Sneaking in the War Banner wouldn't hurt either.

BSB must have a shield for that 3+save. Poisoned attacks and a tail weapon wouldn't hurt if you have points to spare.

Instead of the Priest, a cheapo Engineer scroll caddy might serve you better for magical defense.

25 is fine for Clanrats, especially since they're not main line units. I'd look into the other weapon teams over Ratling Guns, they all got buffed and it got nerfed pretty bad. I'm partial to the Doom Flayer and WFT.

Monks are hitty, but I don't think they are that necessary since you have Stormvermin. I like Gutter Runners and Jezzails a lot. PCBs are crazy good if you can keep them screened.

Giant Rats are incredibly cheap for a fast, ranked unit. They are perfect for screening or flanking or munching on skirmishers and fast cav.
