I'm headed down to San Antonio today to take part in the yearly Alamo Tournament. This will be the last time my 6th edition rats see battle, even though 7th edition releases tomorrow (the first day of the tournament) the organizers require lists a month in advance.

So here is my final list, before I hang 6th edition up. It is the same basic build that I've been using, I threw another engineer (in lieu of my subpar priest who never contributed) into the mix to put a little more pressure on the magic phase.

Warlord Skritt; Fellblade, Talisman, Hvy Armor, Shld
Engineer Twitch; Full Kit, No Pistol, D Scroll
Engineer Itch; Full Kit, No Pistol, D Scroll
Banner Bearer Byte; Storm Banner

27 Clan Rats; FC

The list did pretty well. I went 3-2. My last loss came in the final round, and I had a solid win going into turn 3, but everything got turned around by 2 or 3 really odd dice rolls that pulled my battle line apart.

High Elves; Solid Win
Dark Elves; Resounding Loss
Woodelves; Massacring Win

Lizardmen (2ng Gen, 2 Steg); Massacring Win
Woodelves (almost identical to game 3); 600 point loss:

1 odd archer flee roll that pulled my general 10" instead of 5",
4 rounds of ranked clanrat on 8 dryad failed combat rolls,
3 turns of gutters failing ld7 to charge the above dryads and swing the combat.

Had 1 or 2 of those things happened happened my clanrats who had stolen the WE Bsb and stuck in on the dryads would survived giving me a 400 point swing, set up for key counter/flank charges and drastically changed turns 4, 5, 6, which went about as bad as they possibly could go.
