Just informing you of a(nother) site, trying to streamline and develop Mordheim.
http://www.indadvendt.dk/mordheim/
And some useful galleries. *bsb*

Rulewise they have changed a lot, which I fear will confuse rather than improve, but an interesting and impressive amount of work.

...you can still call me Rusty Tincanne if you want, though.

Good to see Setomidor is still in the hobby. B) Always liked the stuff he posted here.

After taking some more time to look through it, I agree that for anyone that has played Mordheim it could be confusing. The differences are just enough - like switching from 6th to 7th edition. ;) Overall, I like the galleries and general rule changes but not so much the changes to the specific warbands.

Here are more specific things I like/dislike:

  • I like that they allow you to run to a wall and then climb. That was always irritating to me that you had to start a climb in base contact with the wall in Mordheim. I don't like that they made it a uniform 4" for any race, though. I think it should have been kept as the warriors own movement, which would allow Skaven to climb fast or a previously wounded character (with a M<4) to climb not as far.

  • No dual wielding daggers is an odd rule. I cannot help but wonder why they thought that was important.

  • Flails offer +1S in more than first round of combat? NICE!

  • As much as I hate blackpowder weapons as they are, the Coreheim changes seem to give them a boost that makes them worth their points. It seems all handguns can be fired every turn. (Still looks like bows are a better choice though.) I like that the blunderbuss is a template weapon now rather than a 2" wide straight line.

  • Magic: at first glance, it looks good. I didn't see any spells that looks useless, of which many are in Mordheim. Certainly will miss the extra rats via magic though!

  • Really don't like what they did to the Skaven warband. M4 as a base stat? (Though most other races are at 3"...) And they decreased the maximum # in the warband to 15. Strength in numbers was what allowed skaven stand up to other races. <_<
